Terms of use

Last updated 16 July 2026. Short version: the site is informational, the studies are published in good faith, and nothing here is a contract.

Who we are. Prime Directive AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 16551401), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@primedirective.ai.

What this site is. A description of our work and a place to read our published studies. It is information, not advice, and not an offer. Nothing on it forms a contract between us. If we work together, a signed agreement governs that, not this page.

The studies. The Guinndex, the Gas Index and the World Cup Index are research, published openly and in good faith. Every figure is a measurement taken at a moment, by phone or by camera, and prices change. Some of it is contributed by readers. We publish the method alongside the findings precisely so you can judge the numbers rather than take them on trust. We do not warrant that any individual price, pub, station or fact is current or correct, and you should not rely on one to make a decision that matters. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Using our work. The studies are meant to be cited, quoted and written about, by people and by machines. Do that freely, with attribution to Prime Directive AI and a link where you can. What you may not do is present our findings as your own, or republish a dataset wholesale as a competing product. The site's text, design, code, data and the agents behind it remain ours.

Links out. We link to press coverage and to our own products on other domains. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

The email list. Subscribing is optional and unsubscribing is one click. What we store, and why, is in the privacy policy.

Liability. We provide this site as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes. We update these terms when the site changes materially, and the date at the top moves when we do.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
